Year 2 culminates with a focus on further developing singing and playing skills, with an emphasis on following a leader during the summer term. This unit aligns with the curriculum’s goal of nurturing vocal and instrumental abilities. Pupils continue to refine their pitch-matching and instrumental skills, preparing them to engage in collaborative music-making in thef upcoming year. This unit builds on their knowledge of rhythm and pitch, encouraging them to become more confident musicians.

- Play untuned instruments (e.g. percussion) with increased coordination and rhythm accuracy.
